I took some pictures of my CLU this week. I just put up an Illini window covering that my mom sent me. This is where I live. As you can see, it is air conditioned. I turn the AC off during the day to dry the CLU out and then turn it on at night to cool it off. It is a comfortable living arrangement. It’s only a 5 minute walk to work vs the 15 minute walk I had at the CLU I used to live in.

Home, sweet, home...how much longer will you be there? Hope you're doing okay! Friends in Pensacola love you! :>)
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing this application for House Beautiful and Better Homes and Gardens. It's a real winner. It's a good thing you should be home before Christmas. I just don't see how a tree could fit in there without you having to sleep outside.
ReplyDelete:) The CLU is a pretty nice living arrangement. I'll suggest it to Jen before we close on a house and see if she's up for living in one back in the states. I'm trying to get a ticket back to the US the 1st week in July. That should give me enough time to check out of my current command, hang out with Jen for a week, and then check into my next command in Virginia Beach.
ReplyDeleteIt would be tough getting a full-sized tree in there. If I were here over Christmas, I think I'd have to go with the Charlie Brown tree. Perhaps it could sit at the end of my ironing board. :)
